In a nutshell, Don’t Play It Straight is a resounding piece of avant-garde Acid Funk/hip-hop constructed from artists that have the capability to consume you with insight and trippingly captivating instrumentals. nocluemusic

"The older I get / The more life starts to make sense / And the less I care." Somehow we have created a musical infrastructure where a brilliant musician like doseone can create his magnum opus and somehow it remains totally unnoticed and ignored in music media.
